Raid Planning FAQ
Everything you need to know about setting up the perfect raid.
Q.What is Raid Gen?
A.Raid Gen (also called Raid Meme Gen) is a free AI raid planner. You pick a game and a raid, choose Serious Strat or Meme Chaos mode, and it writes a phase-by-phase raid plan with role callouts and tips in about 10 seconds. Plans can be shared as a link or image.
Q.What is a raid planner?
A.A raid planner is a tool that helps raid leaders prepare their group for an encounter: who does what, what to watch out for in each phase, and how to share that plan before the pull. Raid Gen uses AI to write that plan for you, with an optional meme mode to keep the group laughing.
Q.How do I plan a raid in WoW?
A.To plan a WoW raid: 1) confirm your roster of tanks, healers and DPS; 2) read up on each boss's mechanics; 3) assign roles for each phase; 4) share one clear plan with the raid before the pull. Raid Gen handles steps 3 and 4 — pick the raid, and it writes a phase-by-phase plan you can share in Discord.
Q.Which games and raids does Raid Gen support?
A.Raid Gen currently supports Destiny 2, World of Warcraft, Helldivers 2, Arc Raiders, Final Fantasy XIV, Path of Exile 2, Monster Hunter Wilds. That covers 10 raids, including Last Wish, Vault of the Incarnates, Super Helldive Operation, Buried Sector Extraction and more.
Q.Is Raid Gen free?
A.Yes. Your first plan needs no account, and a free account gets 3 AI raid plans every day with share links, image export and saved plans. No credit card is needed for the Free plan.
Q.How much does Raid Gen Pro cost?
A.Raid Gen Pro costs $5 per month and adds unlimited AI plans, the Live War Room for real-time collaboration, streamer OBS overlays and PDF export. There is a 14-day free trial; a card is required to start it, and you are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
Q.Can I use Raid Gen as a raid scheduler?
A.No. Raid Gen does not schedule raids or track sign-ups. Use it alongside your guild's calendar or Discord sign-up bot: schedule the raid there, then share a Raid Gen plan so everyone knows their role.
Q.Why is raid planning important?
A.Raid planning prevents avoidable wipes. When every player has read the same plan and knows their role for each phase, the group spends less time explaining mechanics between pulls and more time progressing.
